This policy explains what information Blue Planet Export Inc. ("Blue Planet", "we", "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who can see it, and the choices you have. We don't run ads, we don't use analytics trackers, and we never sell your information.

1. Who we are

Blue Planet Export Inc. is a Philippine export company that consolidates and ships food, grocery, health & beauty, and specialty products to wholesale buyers worldwide.

For anything in this policy, questions, corrections, deletion requests, that email is the way to reach us.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account requests: your name, company name, email address, country, and (optionally) your business address.
Quote requests: your name, email address, company name, country, the products you're asking about, and any notes you type.
Your account: your sign-in email and password, your company details, orders you place, quotes you accept or decline (including any reason you type), and notes you add to order lines.
Messages: messages you send to our team through the client portal, including any files you attach.

Information collected automatically

Connection details: we briefly keep your device's internet address (IP address) to block abuse, for example repeated failed sign-in attempts or automated form spam. These entries are kept only as long as needed for that purpose and then cleared automatically.
Sign-in devices: if you tick "Remember me" when signing in, we store a description of that browser so you can recognise and sign out of your devices from your account page.
Your local time zone: when you use the client portal, your browser tells us your time zone so our team can see your local time when replying to your messages.
Account activity: we keep a history of actions taken in your account (quotes requested, orders placed, settings changed). You can see this same history on your account page.

We do not collect precise location, and this site never asks for your camera, microphone, or payment card details.

3. How we use your information

To review account requests and set up client accounts.
To prepare pricing for your quote requests and process your orders and shipments.
To send service emails you'd expect: confirmation that we received your request, your pricing documents, order and account updates, and security notices such as password changes. Every email we send is about something you asked for, we currently send no promotional or newsletter emails.
To answer your messages.
To keep the site and accounts secure and prevent abuse.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not profile you, and we do not sell it to anyone.

4. Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small files your browser stores so a website can remember you. This site sets only two, both created by us and both needed for the site to work, there are no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, which is why you don't see a cookie pop-up here.

BPMSESSID	Keeps you signed in while you browse.	Until you close your browser or sign out.
market_remember_me	Keeps you signed in between visits, set only if you tick "Remember me".	14 days, extended as you use the site, never longer than 90 days. Removed when you sign out.

Your browser also stores a few things locally on your own device so the site works smoothly. This information stays in your browser, it is not sent to us as tracking:

Stored on your device	What it does
Your cart	Remembers the products you've added, so your cart survives a page reload.
Browsing position	Remembers your place in the product list during your visit.
Sign-out signal	Signs out every open tab at once when you sign out in one of them.
Recent account requests	Remembers, in scrambled form, that this browser recently sent an account request, so you're not asked twice. Clears itself after 30 days.
Sign-in cooldown	Remembers the short wait after too many wrong password attempts.

You can clear cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings; the site will still work, though you'll be signed out and your cart will be emptied.

5. Who can see your information

Your requests, quotes, orders, and messages are handled by Blue Planet staff in our internal order system, that's how we prepare your pricing and ship your orders. Files you attach to messages can be opened only by you and our team. We never sell or rent your information. We share it outside the company only with trusted providers that help us operate the site, such as our email and web-hosting services, or where the law requires it.

6. How long we keep information

Quotes, orders, and shipping documents are business records, we keep them for as long as we're required to for accounting, tax, and export compliance.
Account information is kept while your account exists. If you ask us to close your account, we remove or lock what we no longer need.
A quote request you haven't heard back on yet can be cancelled by you directly from your account, which removes it immediately.
Account requests we decline are removed automatically 12 months after the decision.
Guest quote requests that were declined or expired are removed automatically 24 months after they close.
Security entries (such as internet addresses kept to block abuse) are kept only as long as needed for that purpose and then cleared automatically.

7. Your rights and choices

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A. 10173), and similar laws where you live, such as the GDPR in Europe, you can:

See the information we hold about you.
Correct it, you can already edit your company name, contact person, country, and address yourself on your account page, and change your sign-in email with an email confirmation.
Ask us to delete your information or close your account. We'll do so except where we must keep business records by law, and we'll tell you what we kept and why.
Object to a use of your information, or ask us to limit it.
Complain to the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (privacy.gov.ph) or your local data-protection authority if you believe we've handled your information badly. We'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.

To use any of these rights, email blueplanetexportinventory@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm you own the email address on the account before acting.

8. How we protect your information

Your password is stored in a scrambled one-way form that nobody, including us, can read back.
Sign-in links and "Remember me" are protected the same way, and you can sign out every other device from your account page at any time.
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), limits who at Blue Planet can access what, and applies protections against common attacks.
Changing your sign-in email requires confirming from the new address, and the old address is notified.

9. Children

This is a wholesale trade site for businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we'll tell account holders by email or a notice in the client portal.
